  • Indian Constitution Article 5 definition applies

Age Limit (As on 1st April 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 20 years (candidates should not be born before 02.04.1998)
  • Maximum Age: 28 years (candidates should be born not later than 01.04.2006)
  • Age Relaxation for Reserved Categories: Cumulative age relaxation is not permitted under multiple categories combined.
  • Relaxation Details: 5 years additional age relaxation for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC candidates (as per Government guidelines)

Educational Qualification

  • Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government
  • Field of Study: Any discipline accepted (Engineering, Arts, Science, Commerce, Medicine, etc.)
  • Distance Education: Accepted if from recognized/approved institutes
  • Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) & Dual Degree Programs: Accepted; candidates must have completed/passed on or before 31.12.2026
  • Final Year Candidates: Candidates currently studying in the final year or final semester may apply provisionally. If selected, they must produce evidence of passing graduation on or before 31 December 2026.
